Non-twist yarns, is a yarn without the fiber being united, and without twists. Compared to ordinary cotton, the non-twist yarn is soft and gentle to the skin. Also, since there are many gaps between the fibers, it produces extra volume, and absorbs moisture quickly by wiping lightly.
The origin of the name comes from the Native Americans; the “Pima”. Within the pima cotton, the extra long cotton that can be picked only in the southwest region of the U.S. is called Supima cotton (luxury cotton which has an average of more than 35mm length of fibers, only 3% in the world). Among these, Supima Organic uses only carefully chosen organic cotton with no use of pesticides and defoliants for three or more years, and grown only in a safe and secure environment. Feature of Supima Organic are, light and sheer, has superior water absorption, and has an elegant gloss similar to silk.
Fergana cotton is made of cotton wool that has been grown in Fergana basin of Uzbekistan (western Russia). The Fergana cotton is extremely safe, with no impurities as it is harvested by hand, without the use of defoliants. Because the number of twists is only half of the normal yarn, the softness is hardly impaired even after washing.
The yarn made from super-long cotton (luxury cotton which has an average of more than 35mm length of fibers, only 3% in the world) is produced in Bangalore, India (Karunakata State). Among these, only the carefully chosen organic cotton grown in a safe and secure environment, with no use of pesticides and defoliants for three or more years are used. In response to rain brought from the distinctive Indian monsoon, it is grown strongly in an environment of more than 20℃ temperature difference between day and night. It has a gentle texture like silk, and the beautiful white color stands out.
